Monica Isomura is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and her students annually place in the Greater Houston NATS Auditions in both classical and musical theater divisions. She has many students who have gone on to major in voice and musical theater at prestigious universities and conservatories including Northwestern University, Rice University, University of Houston, Lawrence University, Oberlin College, University of Northern Colorado, and Cincinnati Conservatory
The Isomura Voice Studio presents an ANNUAL STUDIO RECITAL in which all students are invited to participate in a program that features each student individually and gives them the opportunity to sing in small and large ensembles and in multiple languages and styles. Every year, there is a different cohesive theme that includes repertoire, in English and one foreign language, from the classical, musical theater, and popular genres.
